DESCRIPTION:Parenting is hard…but you CAN take your parenting skills to the next level! \nThere is no ‘manual’ for parenting\, but millions of parents have used the The Parent’s Handbook! \nBased on the Systematic Training for Effective Parenting Program\, Parenting to the Next Level is an 8-week program that gives you the opportunity to come together with other parents and learn new skills\, uncover the goals of your child’s behaviors and learn how to expect cooperation from your child. \nThroughout the 8 weeks we will cover: \n\nUnderstanding yourself and your child\nUnderstanding beliefs and feelings\nEncouraging your child and yourself\nListening and talking to your child\nHelping children cooperate\nDiscipline that makes sense\nChoosing your approach\n\nJoin us via Zoom for 8 weeks and learn how this program can help you level up your parenting by using time-tested strategies. \nAll participants will need a copy of The Parent’s Handbook by Don Dinkmeyer Sr.\, Gary D. McKay\, and Don Dinkmeyer Jr. \nYou can order The Parent’s Handbook on Amazon\, or through Community Partners. \nParenting to the Next Level Zoom classes will be held Mondays from 10 AM to 11:15 AM beginning June 22 and running through August 10. Since we’ll be connecting via Zoom\, you don’t even need to leave your own home! \nTickets are $15 (without the book) and $20 (includes The Parent’s Handbook).
