SUMMARY:Orchestrating Change: A film about the world's only orchestra for people living with mental illness
DESCRIPTION:Orchestrating Change is the documentary film that tells the inspiring story of Me2/Orchestra\, the only orchestra in the world created by and for people living with mental illness and those who support them. Co-founded by Ronald Braunstein\, once a world-renowned conductor whose career was shattered when his own diagnosis of bipolar disorder was made public\, the mission of the orchestra is to erase stigma one exhilarating concert at a time. As they rehearse\, perform and prepare for a major concert\, these extraordinary musicians have no idea how much the orchestra will change their lives in poignant and powerful ways. \nJoin us for a discussion with Me2/ Music Director\, Ronald Braunstein\, Executive Director\, Caroline Whiddon\, a Me2/ musician featured in the film and the two filmmakers. \nClick here to watch the Orchestrating Change preview. \nThis event is free\, but registration is required. All registrants will receive a private link to watch the documentary  that will be live three (3) days before the discussion. \nRegister Now

SUMMARY:NAMIWalks Your Way: A National Day of Hope Fundraiser for NAMI NH
DESCRIPTION:https://www.naminh.org/nami-nh-events/namiwalks-nh/ \nWe are pleased to announce our participation in NAMIWalks Your Way: A National Day of Hope on Saturday\, October 10\, 2020. \nEvery year\, NAMIWalks NH brings thousands of Granite Staters together for the state’s single largest mental health awareness and suicide prevention event. Together\, we promote awareness of mental illness and suicide\, raise funds for NAMI New Hampshire\, and build community so people know they are not alone. This year presents many new challenges – and\, as you might have expected\, the 18th Annual NAMIWalks NH is going virtual! \nNothing will ever take the place of over 2\,000 of us gathered together in Concord\, united in hope. However\, the health and safety of our walkers\, volunteers\, staff\, and the community is our top priority. \nWhat does this mean for you? \nNAMIWalks Your Way means you and your team members can make the day your own. Some of our participants will still be walking this year – around the block\, doing laps around the backyard\, or on the treadmill\, all while taking the most careful precautions and staying appropriately physically distanced. Other participants might go for a run\, a bike ride\, a hike\, or a swim. They might be found hula hooping or paddle boarding or gardening or doing yoga. \nThe beauty of NAMIWalks Your Way is the ability for you to engage in whatever activity you find meaningful – all while fundraising for NAMI New Hampshire and sharing activities on social media to raise awareness and show a united effort. \nThis is new for all of us\, and we know you will have many questions. \nCLICK HERE to learn more about how you can register and participate.
